Campaign

Phase 1 - Occupation Phase

Gangs roll off to claim uncontrolled territories. There are no attackers or defenders here - just two gangs arriving at the same piece of unclaimed turf at the same time.

How It Works

Players roll off. The winner chooses an uncontrolled territory to be the stake of the battle. The loser rolls on the scenario table below to determine what kind of fight breaks out over it.

During this phase, if any match results in a draw, no one claims the territory and everyone retreats to lick their wounds and have an embarrassing call with their daddy.

Occupation Scenarios

D6 Scenario Notes
1 9. Border Dispute That awkward moment where you thought you had just found some unclaimed territory, free for the taking, and then some other twat appears thinking the same thing. Both gangs deploy from opposite edges and race to defile each other's gang relic. Hybrid crew selection (D3+3). Victory goes to whoever still has fighters standing with their relic intact.
2 13. Escape the Pit It's just like a race... but deadly. Beat the other chump and there's a tasty territory waiting above the pit for you. Both gangs deploy on opposite edges and scramble for loot caskets, then flee via the escape point at the centre. The walls start closing in from round 3 - get out fast.
3 23. Gang Moot History won't remember who fired the first shot, but legends will remember who fired the last. Leaders deploy near the centre; everyone else is scattered around the board unaware until the shooting starts. The last Leader standing wins.
4 28. Terror in the Dark This perfectly good territory is just sitting there unclaimed... in the dark... smelling of old blood and death. Shotgun! Fought under Pitch Black rules (Visibility 3") with Horrors in the Dark lurking. Custom crew of 10. Survive and be the last gang standing.
5 90. Gunk Tank Claiming Gunk is one thing, but controlling the territory where you got it from - that's a different matter entirely. Both gangs fight over a central Gunk Tank, siphoning tokens and carrying them off the board. Most gunk escorted off the table wins.
6 96. Wasteland Encounter Someone got to the middle first and thought they got a free territory. They should've known better - nothing comes for free in the Hive. A straight-up brawl deploying from the centre outward, with reinforcements rolling on each end phase. Wipe them out or make them bottle.
